When to visit Paris
The best time to visit Paris depends on personal preferences. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer mild weather and smaller crowds. This is ideal for museums. Summer (June & July) is popular and can be crowded but the weather is good. Winter (December to February) offers the fewest crowds and lower hotel rates.
*Please note: In August, major attractions in Paris will generally be open, but it is the primary month for French holidays. While you may experience less traffic and a more enjoyable atmosphere, some restaurants in quieter areas may be closed.
